Tony Hearn
Managing Director
I founded Cool Code Company back in 2008, based out of my very own domain (see what I did there) - Nottingham. Back then, I was a developer with over 13 years of experience in the field. I never quite felt that I was achieving my full potential and after becoming increasingly unsatisfied and unfulfilled in my last employed role, I decided to take the plunge and go it alone. I realised I needed a new challenge and had the skills and expertise to offer my services to clients first nationally, then globally.
I have never been one to turn down a challenge and thus, i have a very varied portfolio of work behind me. I always enjoyed building and working with customised systems for my clients as opposed to ‘off the shelf’ and successfully did so across a wide range of functional systems such as -
I’ve worked with organisations across the world and have clients in the US, LATAM, MENA, APAC and of course Europe.
I pride myself on providing a tailored and professional experience to all of my clients. The most important thing to me is that they continue to return and i’m pleased to say that is indeed the case. I have had some of my clients for over 15 years and continue to provide them with regular services as and when needed.
It’s also extremely important to me, to clearly understand what outcomes my clients are looking to achieve. This means I aim to partner with my clients rather than act as a supplier and allows me to translate your objectives into real, tangible results. Most importantly, myself and the team will use the latest technologies to bring the best results whether this be to assist you with Android, iOS, Web or Mobile applications. I know my clients expect a return on their investment over time and I know that together, we can deliver.
Contrary to what the above may suggest, I do in fact have a life outside of work. I enjoy playing guitar in several bands and doing gigs around the country. On Saturday afternoons I can be found either relaxing with my cats (Missy & Monster) or exploring the countryside. A lesser known fact about me is that I’m a co-host of one of the longest running podcasts in the world (Punky!), we have been doing a weekly show since July 2005 and have just celebrated our 18th birthday.
